Description of 2 mosaic chairs I completed last summer, designed after 2 roman mosaics, from Italy and France, of a mallard duck and an Egyptian goose

I found them years ago, and I brought those two beautiful high chairs back from Alabama. I was not sure what I was going to do with them, they would of course turn into mosaic chairs, and last winter, as I was feeding a cohort of starving ducks in my front yard, I figured it out…
The Baie de Somme is waterfowl country, ducks, geese, swans and herons…
The Mallard is after a roman mosaic from the Villa Mosaici Spello in Italy.
The original mosaic being tricolor, I adjusted the colors to make it a mallard, those being the emblematic ducks around the Studio…(I feed about 2 dozens of those noisy fowls from December to April…)
I designed the Egyptian goose after a 2nd century mosaic from Uzes in Southern Gaule.
The main frames are rusted steel, decorated with golden bronze balls, and aluminum swan heads. The mosaics themselves are ceramic. These chairs are surprisingly comfortable, they would indeed be perfect to sip on a glass of your favourite adult beverage in good company.
They would also be a perfect gift for a hunter friend of yours !
