I discovered the music of the Rolling Stones in 1972. I have been an enthusiastic fan since then, have worried about their ability to stay alive and keep the band together. They were banned from playing in France for several years due to Keith Richards’ epic consumption of drug. Many years later, against all odds, the old pirate is still alive and well.
I created this dark tone portrait of Keith in 2015 out of ceramic and glass tiles.
