Green Eyes

Green Eyes mosaic portrait

Inspired by a picture of Tuareg lady I had seen in a French Magazine in the 90’s, Green Eyes is the first set of Eyes mosaics I realized. In a previous life I  traveled several times to North Africa, where I have always found that the veil brings out the beauty in the eyes of the women or men who wear it. And a hint of mystery !

It also is an excellent protection against sand and dust when the Saharan sand storms blows.

Green Eyes is made of Ceramics, Porcelains, Travertine, Iridescent Glasses, gilded mirrors and granites.
